Phonemic Awareness Reading Rods Class Kit

Your pre-emergent and emergent readers will develop phonemic, phonological and alphabet awareness by using letter and picture rods to learn sounds, letters and letter-sound relationships. By linking together letter and picture rods, children learn to how to identify initial, medial and final sounds; recognize and write uppercase and lowercase letters; sequence the letters of the alphabet and build simple words.
Kit includes set of 108 Reading Rods® in a storage tub (7105), 24 double-sided Activity Cards (LER-7109), 4 activity trays (LER-7130) and a 48-page Instruction & Activity Book (LER-7113) with lesson plans, blackline masters and over 100 full-color demonstration cards. Color-coded rods include vowels, consonants, pictures with initial vowel sounds and pictures with initial consonant sounds. Use with 14 students.
