The Pact tells the true story of three friends from the tough streets of Newark who made it out, and returned home. By high school, these three already knew too much about the drugs, crime and grinding poverty. They pledged to help each other make it to college and even medical school. The doctors beat the odds and returned to their community to practice medicine. Now, they face the daunting task of inspiring others to stay off drugs, out of gangs, and in school.
