Race to Read Reading Comprehension Game Red Level

This fun, highly motivating game is designed to build and reinforce the key reading and language arts skills it takes to be a good reader in a non-threatening atmosphere.

Players make their way around a colorful racetrack. When they land on different colored spaces, players choose cards that ask them to figure out parts of speech, plurals, verb tenses, blends, homophones, definitions, idioms, context clues, anagrams, and more. Teachers can choose how many laps to complete to adapt to time constraints.

Winning is based on knowledge and skills rather than random factors and trivia, and players never lose points for wrong answers. Each title focuses on a specific skill necessary for comprehension of text—from fiction to informational texts and directions. All games include: an 18” square game board, 72 to 110 story cards, instructions, and playing pieces. For 2 to 6 players.
