This fun, highly motivating game is designed to build and reinforce the key reading and language arts skills it takes to be a good reader in a non-threatening atmosphere.

Students look for clues to crack a big case. As they travel, they discover case files containing mysterious grammar questions. Players put their knowledge of parts of speech, verb tense, sentence structure, punctuation, and more to the test as they race to be the first to close the case!

Winning is based on knowledge and skills rather than random factors and trivia, and players never lose points for wrong answers. Each title focuses on a specific skill necessary for comprehension of text—from fiction to informational texts and directions. All games include: an 18” square game board, 72 to 110 story cards, instructions, and playing pieces. For 2 to 6 players.
