Mapping Skills 4-6

This unit is designed to provide in-depth coverage of the skills needed in map reading: directions, symbols, legend, scale, longitude, and latitude. Students will make their own maps of their classroom, school, and neighborhood. Students also learn how to locate places on a map, to find countries using coordinates, and find their location on a map. Give your students a wide variety of knowledge and challenges.
