This book provides, in multiple-choice, standardized-test format, 15 different problem sets for six grade-appropriate topics. Each problem set has 3 levels: the first introduces the math concept and can be solved in pairs or small groups; the second provides independent practice; and the third offers an opportunity for a challenging application. The solution can be discussed as a class, and each problem has a follow-up question that encourages students to either build on the information or to communicate their reasoning.
