Lap Books Set 2 Spanish and English Set of 10

“Lap books” are lap-size big books that are the perfect size for small group instruction and partner reading (15” x 11¾”). Bigger than student books, but smaller than some big books, two students can read together more easily with a lap book. But they are also large enough to be used for whole-class shared reading. The dual-language lap book series below was developed to address the deficiency that many students may have social fluency in English, but not academic fluency. These nonfiction lap-size big books encourage students to become more language proficient in the content areas, while also supporting literacy instruction. They are aligned to English Language Arts Standards, English as a Second Language Standards, and National Science Standards. Pages vary from 8 to 16.
