Prepared Slides Sets

Grades: 3-12

Each set contains six slides, one each of pollen/spores, textiles, insects, tiny creatures, animals and plants. 24 specimens per set.

Set 1 Slides include:

• Animals: Goldfish Scale, Hare Hair, Camel Hair and Geather Fowl Point
• Plants: Woody Stem of Pine, Camellia Leaf Section, Bamboo Shoot, Sponge Gourd
• Insects: Leg of Butterfly, Wing of Butterfly, Wing of Locust and Leg of Honey Bee
• Textile Fibers: Hemp Fiber, Silk Stuff, Cotton Fiber and Bemberg
• Tiny Creatures: Plant louse, Fruit fly, Shrimp egg, Silk work larva (moth)
• Pollen & Spores: Pollen of lily, Sunflower pollen, Bottle brush sport, Fern spore

Set 2 Slides include:

• Animals: Cat hair, canary feather, dog hair, sheep hair
• Plants: Stem of corn, leaf of nerium, onion rind, silver berry
• Insects: Locust legs, worker bee wing, bee antenna, bee abdomen
• Textile Fibers: Panya, nylon, wool, handmade paper
• Tiny Creatures: Common red sponge, angora rabbit hair, ant, mouse fur
• Pollen & Spore: Tulip pollen, leaf spore, pine tree pollen, orange pollen
