This fun, highly motivating game is designed to build and reinforce the key reading and language arts skills it takes to be a good reader in a non-threatening atmosphere.

Players work their way through a maze. When they encounter the Riddle Master, he commands them to choose a story card, read a leveled passage, and use logic and reasoning to answer a question. The first player to outsmart the Riddle Master and reach the center of the maze wins!

Winning is based on knowledge and skills rather than random factors and trivia, and players never lose points for wrong answers. Each title focuses on a specific skill necessary for comprehension of text—from fiction to informational texts and directions. All games include: an 18” square game board, 72 to 110 story cards, instructions, and playing pieces. For 2 to 6 players.
